American rock group Thirty Seconds To Mars is the headlining act for Saturday at Qstock. Formed in 1998 by Jared Leto, also known as an A-list Hollywood actor, and his brother Shannon, Thirty Seconds To Mars have come a long way, releasing five studio albums and playing sold-out shows all over the world. The last time that the group were seen in Finland was on their Monolith tour in Helsinki in May last year.

Other newly confirmed acts include Children Of Bodom who will release a new album in March and Ricky-Tick Big Band & Julkinen Sana for whom this will be the final year of performing together, as well as Teflon Brothers, Don Huonot, SANNI and Ruusut.

”To book Thirty Seconds To Mars to Qstock was another wonderful reward for the work we have done. Jared Leto and his group will bring us a massive show that will undoubtedly be one of the most impressive in the history of Qstock”, says Festival Director Mikko Forstén.

”The rest of next summer’s playbill presents a suitable mixture of new, interesting acts and familiar, older ones. The genres are extremely varied, as has always been the case at Qstock. We will be dropping more confirmations as the summer approaches and announce the complete schedules during the spring.”

Qstock ticket sales have started today (Thursday) through Ticketmaster’s sales channels. Besides the one- and two-day festival tickets, also tickets for the VIP area as well as drink and meal vouchers are now for sale.

What is more, there are various extra package deals available concerning the Thirty Seconds To Mars show. These contain a meet-and-greet or watching the show from the Qstock Main Stage and receiving signed fan products, for example. More information is available on the Qstock Tickets page.

The first 300 ticket buyers will receive a Vallila X Qstock festival bag as a complimentary gift. The bag’s beautiful Oulu design by textile designer Matleena Issakainen, coloured exclusively for Qstock, emanates the festival’s summery atmosphere and bright nights, with the Qstock logo embroidered on the side of the bag. The sturdy bag is made of 100% cotton, with plenty of room for festival gear and a handy inside pocket for small items. The bags will be delivered to recipients during the spring.
