Amaranthe is the flagship of modern Swedish metal and a well-known visitor in Finland. At Qstock, this ship is almost at its home dock, for bass player Johan Andreassen has been living in Oulu for quite some time now. The latest singles, Damnation Fire and Insatiable, have been convincing displays of the talent of Mikael Sehlin who is the group’s new growling specialist. The new album The Catalyst will be released in its entirety in February 2024.
